The products that we mostly suggest for patio are tiles, with split or sawn edges, and irregular slabs.

The pattern that designers use for the tiles varies upon imagination. It is very common to use split edge tiles with random length or rectangular pieces, but also pieces in a french pattern installation. On the other hand, we suggest sawn edges tiles for areas of major importance.

The use of Irregular slabs (flagstones), is common for more rustic places.

It is also important to detail the borders with an orthogonal line of tiles or binders.

Patio are usually pedestrian, and indeed we suggest a mortarbed installation and liquid grout installation. The recommended thickness  can be 1” (with a nominal variation from ½” to 1 ½”), or 2” (from 1 ½” to 2 ½”).
